A Brief Introduction To Asp Web Hosting

ASP hosting refers to the hosting services being offered to the Active Server Page (or ASP). ASPs are basically HTML (or Hyper Text Mark-up Language) web pages that have been embedded with ASP scripts which are processed inside the server before the web page is made delivered to the visitor. It allows you to create dynamic webs pages with database, such that a visitor can access information in the database and can also interact with web page projects, such as ActiveX or Java components.

In order to create a dynamic site with full of data, you have the option to add ASP code into your site’s HTML web pages. When you start browsing a site that has been designed using ASP, or through ASP web hosting, you have the web pages that can be altered or modified in accordance with the activities pursued by the visitors. The ASP code facilitates in connecting your web pages with a database, such that visitors can interact with the web page projects by logging in and further utilise their unique personal configurations. Alternatively, the visitors can also set up orders within your website through interactions.

When it comes to operating it, if you type a web address in the Address Box or would just click on a web page you request the server for transmitting a file onto your PC, if that is an HTML file, then whenever your browser would receive the page, it would appear exactly like it did on the internet. However, if an ASP data file has been delivered to your PC from the server, the web server will initially implement the HTML source code and later perform the ASP source code. The ASP source code, for example, can be the present date and such other info.

For an ASP web host, you can look for a server provider, who can host your website on a server with Windows 2000 for more security.
