These pieces are usually large so need to be placed in a room that can accommodate large pieces of furniture easily. Dressers and chests are functional necessities. These are basically the same thing, a place to store items usually clothing. If you have a small amount of space consider something such as a chest, which is tall rather than wide while larger rooms may want to consider dressers. Each has their own advantages and both are going to have options when it comes to the amount of drawers and the size of them. You may find a chest that has several small drawers for smaller items as well as medium and the larger drawers to handle everything from shirts to sweaters. Make sure to get one that is going to be large enough to handle your clothing and what needs to be stored in them. You do not want to have to over stuff. Mirrors are not necessarily needed in the bedroom but they do come in handy. There are several different types. The dresser top is great for rooms that are large enough for dressers but not for have a full sized mirror, that is free standing. There are also wall full length mirrors which are usually attached to the back of doors or to the wall itself and then there are free standing adjustable hinged mirrors which can be considered free standing pieces of furniture.
