A Cat Statue Represents Intuitive Grace

Most real cats do not need a GPS to find their way back home after a long roam. No one knows how they first get irreversibly lost and then out of no where appear as if they had just had a quick stroll in the backyard. Mythology states that the cat once lived in the wild with the tiger. One day the tiger was cold and told the cat to please find him some extra warmth. So the cat went off to find it. What he found was a human home with a warm crinkling fire in the hearth. Sneaking in the window and stealing a firebrand, the cat returned to the tiger an gave him his offering of fire. The tiger was grateful but the warm hearth beckoned the cat to return. The cat told the tiger “I have found a better place, forgive me if I stay there forever.” And so he has.

Regardless of the myths of the cat, today he is well-fed, domesticated, self satisfied and a couch potato.
