A Closer Look At The New Board Lego Games
But Lego have another sort of game on the market, one that receives alot less publicity these days- board games. For the last year or so hints have been appearing that Lego would bring out a range of board-games based around their various themes including Castles, Space, Atlantis and even licensed themes like Harry Potter. But who plays these anymore and would they be any good? Well it turns out many people still enjoy board games, especially families. And are they any good? Lego seems to think so because they didn't just release one, they have designed and produced a total of 18 titles so far. They are all driven by rolling dice rather than switching on computers and involve a variety of skill sets that will challenge and entertain family member of all ages. Being Lego there is of course a construction element to all the games and this is a great way to get younger fans into gameplay beyond computers. They all require more than one player so are a perfect fit for families who want to connect after work and school. So far all the titles have been very well received with popular titles including Minotaurus, Monster 4 and Lava Dragon. Each title is unique in its layout and objective and it is a credit to the designers that they developed so many games with such differing themes. Most games have playing times, of approximately 15 minutes so are fast paced and don't require alot of time commitment from players, unless of course you get addicted and the winner is the first to reach four games!
