A Cuisinart Will Speed Up Your Meal Preparation

This is where you enter your article bodyI love cooking and watching the smiles on my family's faces when they savor my delicious meals (besides cooking, my other main positive trait is himility). The drawback is the length of time it can take to cook. The actual cooking itself is usually not so time consuming - even for longer preparation times, you can often walk away for a while and do something else, like spend time your guests. It's the prep that usually is the time sucker.
Cutting, chopping, slicing, grating and mixing tend to take up most of my cooking time - at least it used to,when I just used my generalpurpose knives and other manual utensils. A good quality food processor can really help here.
The wonder that is the food processor will easily slice and chop fruits, grate cheese and carrots, cut up fruits, and mix dough. Most better models also have a wide range of accessories to extend the food processor's capabilities significantly.
We recommend that you spend the few extra dollars to buy a quality processor - the top makes are Cuisinart and KitchenAid. Also, think ahead - buy a slightly larger and more powerful than you might need now. It will save you the frustration of having an undersized and underpowered model, and it will save you the expense of buying a better model in the near future.
While a qulaity Cuisinart is not cheap (it can be $100 or more), this is a small investment in terms of the time (which is money too) will save you. My only beef is that they don't peel fruits and they don't clean themselves!
