A Different Bed For Any Sized Room
Even having guests over to stay will usually mean that someone will be sleeping on the floor or the sofa, perhaps even in a sleeping bag. It doesn’t need to be this way though as there are many different proper beds that can either be stowed away or hidden when they are not being used. There are also bed solutions to suit people looking to save space too. One of the most common instances of space saving beds is a bunk bed; typically they are made for children mainly because they enjoy bunk bed arrangements (despite the arguments about who gets the top bunk!) and that some models may only support lower weights. Bunk beds tend to be made either of metal or wood, some bunk beds don’t have a bed underneath instead they have sofas, desks or bookcases. Another common bed that people use as a spare or space saving bed is the futon, the world futon refers to the foldable bedding that is used as a bed in the evening but can then be folded and put away during the day but in modern terms they tend to refer to sofa beds or chairs that unfold to become a mattress. Sofa beds can often be double beds making them perfect for two people whereas some single chair varieties can fold out to become a single bed. Obviously these beds and any permanent beds you may have in your bedroom need to have sufficient space for them to be placed in the room but also for it to be unfolded or positioned if required. As equally important with regards to size is to make sure that your bed is not too large for your room, some double beds may look like they take up all the floor space which can severely limit what you can furnish the room with like wardrobes or drawers.
