A Good Article Marketing Strategy Will Help You Establish Expert Status With Your Target Market
If you have read any of my material about an article marketing strategy then you should know that I believe that any content written for your business begins as an article in some form or another.
Anything that you write about your niche, whether it is for an article directory or your blog, is and can be used as an "article" on other websites. The trick is to be unique and put your own spin on the topic that you are writing about. Sure, there are new strategies drummed up in internet marketing on a regular basis but the same underlying tactics are always used. Article marketing is one of those tactics and can be used within almost any industry.
A well written article can be a great source of incoming links, new customers and can even go viral if you deliver the right content at the right time in the right market. And once you have driven new traffic to your sites and gotten new potential customers on your email list you can send them articles on a weekly basis and provide even more value on an ongoing basis.
One part of my strategy is to dive deep into a topic and utilize the many outlets that the web has to offer to share the content that I write. I use my blog, article directories, Squidoo lenses and a host of other Web 2.0 sites. I try to give value to as many people as possible through as many outlets as possible. It's obvious that just one piece of content is not going to receive the readership of dozens of pieces of content spread throughout many sites.
As you know, on the internet, content is king. And if content is king then it pays to be the king of content within your niche, right? And to be honest, I used to think that internet marketing was all about the money. But that changed. When I realized how helpful my content was, and I began receiving "Thank You" emails, I just wanted to contribute more and more to the online community.
If you are passionate about what you do then you need a solid article marketing strategy. I don't care if you write it yourself or you outsource it to a professional writer. Sharing with the community not only benefits the community but it will eventually benefit you too.
