A Good Shave Attracts Women

Do you think that shavings tips are useless in today’s grunge, punk rock world? If you think women don’t care about well shaven men then you are sadly mistaken. There are only a few men who can pull of the stubble look without looking like a wasted guy. Brad Pit, George Clooney, and most handsome Hollywood stars look really great with the so called “unshaven look”. So does this mean that not shaving is attractive? Think again. Let me break down for you what how the stubble really works.

It is true that a stubble (if you know George Clooney then you know what a stubble is) can only be achieved after a number of days without shaving. But the maintenance of the stubble itself requires the perfect shaving techniques. Women find it sexy because it makes a man look more, well manly. The rugged and virile look of the twelve o clock shadow sends a message that this guy is a real man. But the thing is, if the stubble grows a few days more, just a minute eighth of a centimeter longer then the message it sends changes into this: “I am an unkempt guy too lazy to shave.” You see this fine line between rugged and unkempt is hard to maintain so you will have to shave inevitably. Also, if you do not save correctly, your stubble will not look good at all. Uneven grains and length will instantly say lazy and unkempt without even passing to the rugged handsome phase any more.

Now, to achieve the perfect shave, you simply have to adhere to a few simple and easy to remember shaving tips:

Shave with warm water. This will open up your pores and help relax your skin for preparation for shaving.

Avoid alcohol and menthol based shaving products. Both products might feel nice on the skin. But both products are actually harmful. They are skin irritants, plus alcohol dries up your skin and menthol can cause inflammation. You should also avoid foaming products because the chemical that creates the foam usually harm the skin as well.

Rinse your blade after every shave. A simple tip, but very effective. Remember that the less fur in the blade, the cleaner the shaving stroke. Also, use short quick yet gently strokes. Avoid leaning it into the skin too much. Just let the blade glide over the surface.

Shaving brushes are your friend. Using this to apply your shaving cream also helps prop up or kind of “wake up” your facial hair in order for them to easily get shaved off in just a few strokes.

Remember that you need these in order to have clean well grown stubble. Also, never underestimate how a great shave can attract the ladies.
