A Leadership Approach To Developing Your Team For Success
The reason most of us have a desire to be independent and willing to work day and night; for the freedom to work in an environment whereby, no one can hold you back; is to reach our ultimate goal of personal success. In any situation, in order to find the way to survival one will ultimately have to abide by certain rules and regulations, which the system will impose upon managerial leaders to apply, to the workforce of labor. Whether that labor is blue collar or white collar it really doesn’t much matter, what matters, is that rules and regulations and human resource manuals have been written and authorities of higher order expect managerial leaders to use them no matter what. Many of these mentioned documents have stood the test of time without any scrutiny and go along untested. The fact that such an administrative phenomenon is a reality in our world is a central figure for the discontentment of many in their jobs. People are fed up with the old and people are not only demanding change but are demanding quality; the human qualities of respect, dignity and an understanding of expectation.
Now you might ask what this all has to do with developing my own very own manifesto for success. In order to have an understanding for initiating your business plan or manifesto if you will is that one has to have the fundamental knowledge of human behavior, organizational development and management and finance management. Do not attempt to go into business, leadership role, or seek that new promotion, at a particular organization without some basic concepts of administration and management. Part of being successful in life, one must have the ability be both the technocrat and the charismatic figure. It all needs to blend like a well run machine. As that responsibility lies on the shoulders of the leader then it is duty on that person to bring people together.
In my writings I often mention concepts of team work, collaborating, joint ventures and networking. Success does not happen by accident; it happens by a well designed plan. It is critical to develop a plan that hopefully; has the input of others, who can provide you with constructive feedback, on your aspired intentions of meeting your vision. You see as one forms the vision into concepts and into goals one needs to identify the people who fit in those roles, it is called in this profession, position identification, i.e. matching people to positions. The crux in forming your manifesto lies in identifying the right individual who can assist in guiding, supporting and advising you in the layout of your Proposal.
The key elements to forming your business leadership and/or personal manifesto will rest on the issues of policy, program intent and proposal language of accomplishments. Working on complex systematic components of policy, programming and proposal in relations to planning, record keeping and reporting, program governance, human resources and finance are all complex issues that need to be well thought out in the process of developing your manifesto. And, so therefore you’re going to need help and you certainty do want to be alone and go at it.
Indentify a personal or business mentor who is trustworthy and willing able and capable of working alongside you to reach for the stars of success. Identify a technical expert who can assist with the details of technical work. Become astute enough to know when it is time to find help, research who is out there qualified, that can assist with getting you a head start on your pathway to success – after all it will be your leadership manifesto.
