A Look At Performance-enhancing And Protective Atv Parts

All-terrain vehicles are all about performance. They can navigate the off-roads with ease and they can deal with tough tasks that street motorcycles are not capable of handling. However, if you’re still not satisfied with the performance of your ATV, and if you think that it can still give you something more, then you can turn to new high-performance ATV parts. You can upgrade the various systems in your ATV and replace its parts with ones that offer a performance boost. And if you want to improve the protection of the parts in your ride, there are also some add-ons that you can consider.

Take a look at the following:

For your intake: High-Flow Filter
The intake system is designed to supply your engine with its needed oxygen for combustion, and the air should be clean to keep the engine safe. But, much as the filter should have a good capacity in trapping dirt, it should also allow more air into the engine for a more efficient combustion. You can replace your bike’s stock filter with a high-performance filter in order to get more power from your ride.

For your ignition: High-Quality Spark Plugs
Once you have the air and the fuel in your engine, the ignition is put to work in order to ignite the said mixture, producing the horsepower that will propel your ATV forward. The main components involved in this process are the spark plugs, devices that fire up and emit sparks for air-fuel burning. The sparks should be strong so that they will reach the combustion chamber. The spark plugs are also involved in starting your ride, so you need to keep them in shape. If you want an improved ignition performance, you can try new, high-quality plugs.

For your exhaust: High-Performance Pipes
You can consider the exhaust system as the opposite of the intake. While the intake takes in air for engine combustion, the exhaust system releases gases to free the engine and enable it to produce more power. The efficiency of the engine greatly depends on the ability of the exhaust system to discharge more waste gases fast. So, if you want an improved engine performance, you can try high-performance pipes that are larger in diameter and are mandrel-bent, allowing more gases to flow at all times.

For your suspension: Stick Stoppers
The offroads can get dangerous for your ATV parts, especially those underneath such as the suspension. Among the components that you can get to protect the said parts from damage are stick stoppers, those that will repel small branches and sticks to keep parts like the CV boots protected. If the boots are torn, they will allow the lubrication of the axle to leak, and this can lead to a serious damage. So, investing on stick stoppers is a wise idea. They may not improve your ATV’s performance, but they can keep its parts in good shape for a long time.

So, need improved performance or additional protective ATV parts? Consider an upgrade in the various systems in your ATV.
