A MLM Plan is essential for a successful Network Marketing business.
One of the first steps to success is to have a plan in place.
Daily, weekly, monthly, short term and long term goals are a must.
Here at some things to think about when designing your MLM Success plan.
• Is your product simple and easy to explain?
• What and who is your competition?
• Where are going to find your customers?
• Where are you going to find business prospects?
• What type of follow up system do you need in place?
• Where will you advertise?
• Do you have a budget?
• Will you market online, offline or both?
• Do you have an upline or a mentor that will hold you accountable?
• What is your Why for developing a home business?
Most people who fail in our industry lack knowledge and most of all planning. Simply, they just don’t have a clue where to start.
So, design a specific plan to help you learn the real nuts and bolts of what it takes to become successful in your business and the MLM industry.
So, how do you go about this? Look to your upline first. In the beginning, duplicate as many of their actions as you can. As you develop, you will find your niche and be able to add to these actions.
Meet with your mentor and design an action plan together. A good mentor will help you design an action plan that is right for you. As a coach and mentor, it’s important to have a variety of ways to work your business. We are all individuals and it’s a good thing to have choices. What might be just right for you, may not be for the next person. But giving each prospect choices and different things to try is crucial for success.
Next, study other industry leaders. It’s okay to go outside of your organization and look at what others have done and are doing. If you look at the top notch MLMers, each of them has built their business a little differently. Each of them found their niche and what worked best for them. And ask yourself, which of their actions can I implement and duplicate into my own business.
Subscribe to their newsletters, read their books and commit to being a student of the industry.
Next, have an accountability partner. Share your goals and your action plan with someone. I like to put everything on a 90 day plan. At the end of 90 days, go back and evaluate it. What worked and what did not? What needs to be changed?
Your MLM plan should also include personal development. Make a commitment to read a little each day. There are really two parts to a MLM business – your action steps and your mindset. Developing your mind is so crucial to this business. And it is the tougher of the two. You will face obstacles, naysayers and you will get frustrated. So, be able to move through those times by surrounding yourself with positive, like-minded people. So, when you face challenges you have relationships in place that will move you beyond those times.
Focus on the activities you can control For example, you can control how many prospects you are going to call, how many postcards you will send out this week; how many articles you are going to write this month….
Remember, your MLM business is a journey. Be patient and keep your focus.
