A Real American Hero

Another amazing collaboration between Paramount Pictures and Hasbro has produced another incredible hit action adventure flick. Since Transformers turned out to be such a big hit for these two super companies, they decided to try it again bringing GI Joe to the big screen and so far it seems to be a big hit. G.I. Joe The Rise of Cobra a PG-13 rated movie designed for a youthful crowd is meeting with rave reviews from both young and old.

A movie that is full of action and gadgets galore, it meets our inner child at the box office and leaves us thrilled and amazed at this wild ride. Action packed fantasy is how I would describe this film that is just really enjoyable to watch. This movie provides great fun for the whole family.

There is some really good acting in this movie with Dennis Quaid, Channing Tatum, Sienna Miller and Marlon Wayans that really adds to the characters in this movie and makes it that much more enjoyable.

From the desserts of Egypt to below the polar ice caps, the movie is full of battles and ultra modern spy gadgets and weapons. It is a battle against Destro and the Cobra team, as the G.I. Joe team is determined to save the world from total chaos and destruction. With all the gadgets, and action and even funny moments, you will find this movie entertaining, especially those who grew up playing with the action figures and watching the cartoon on Saturday mornings.

Sadly, the DVD, for G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, will not be available for purchase until March of 2010. However, I do suggest that when it becomes available you go right out and get it. It makes for a great family movie night, even if you have already seen it in theatres.
