There's a new, free resource for those seeking information that can help them live with advanced breast cancer.

A free, comprehensive booklet has been created that's designed to empower women with advanced breast cancer and their caregivers.

Called "The Patient Active Guide to Living With Advanced Breast Cancer," the booklet discusses the social and emotional challenges that women with advanced disease face and contains the most up-to-date treatments available.

It offers tips on managing treatment, how to access face-to-face and online support groups, information on complementary and alternative medicine and a comprehensive list of resources for women seeking social and emotional support, financial assistance and culturally specific services.
