Cairo which means ‘the conqueror’ or ‘the vanquisher’ is the great metropolis of Egypt and is declared as the 2nd largest city of the Islamic World and the 16th largest capital in the whole world. It is commonly known by the name of ‘The City of a Thousand Minarets’ due to its preponderance of art and design of the Islamic monuments.
