A True Fishermen Village
It is located half an hour (25 kilometers) of Paraty, in the APA Cairuçú which is part of the national park area. Trindade is inside the National park Sierra of Bocaina, which has 97,953.00 hectares of protected area. In the Trindade region there are more than fifty beaches and some are preserved almost untouched by man. The most famous beaches are close to towns such as Brava beach, Cachadaço and Trindade. Trindade is situated 25 kilometers south of Paraty, Ubatuba limiting. The road is paved. The jungle surrounding Trindade is preserved and the region has five of the most beautiful beaches of Paraty (Brava, Fora, Cepilho, Figueiras and Trinity), a natural saltwater pool (the Caxadaço) and waterfalls. History During the decade of 1970 was a destination for hippies, who sought to distinguish from the rest of society with their traditional and non-conformist lifestyle. In the eighties was a place where adventurers came from all over the world to Camp in the beautiful beaches. From the nineties onwards tourism began to manage the island.
