A Truly Authentic Tasting Dressing

Balsamic Vinegar has been around for hundreds of years but is only recently catching on the United States as a great way to add some fabulous flavor to your salad. While this vinegar tastes great it doesn't come at a cheap price tag and isn't unusual to find them prices at over three hundred dollars a bottle! This is because of the rare ingredients of this tastey dressing. But there's good news for those of us who want to enjoy the great taste balsamic vinegar has to offer but without breaking out bank. They have much less expensive ways for us to enjoy this dressing with very similar taste.

There are many recipes out there that are very close to duplicating the taste of authentic balsamic vinegar by simply getting store bought balsmic dressing, heating it up to remove some of the substance, and then mixing it with a pinch of cinnamon. This is a safe alternative to purchasing balsamic vinegar online as you never really know what you're getting.

But for those of us who prefer to purchase the real deal as it adds an authenticity to our dishes (and bragging rights) be careful of who you purchase from. It's best to only go for stores that specialize in balsamic vinegar and have been around for a very long time. If people can make similar tasting dressings at home for ten dollars then you can bet they'd be willing to sell it to you for two hundred if given the chance.

In the end someone may wonder if it's even worth it, but if you've ever tasted a truly authentic balsamic vinegar dressing then you know there is no substitution.
