The city lies about equidistant from the capital Warsaw and the Czech city of Prague. It is situated towards the south of the country, located on the Vistula river. A little further afield, some visitors take the time to make a sometimes difficult and always moving pilgrimage to the Auschwitz concentration camp. Krakow is the kind of city that will open your mind, and give you the chance to explore a place with its own unique style and charm.
