A great new feature is the application which allows you to take a screenshot and add your own text over it and this can then be sent via MMS. There are up to 40 applications which can be accessed via Widgets on the phone. Applications include very quick access to social networking sites such as Twitter, MySpace, Bebo and facebook, which is a must with the younger audience. Offering live updates directly to your main screen. It's intuitive layout is easy and a pleasure to use. The handset also includes a 3.2 Megapixel camera, which operates at 2048 x 1536 pixels and has video recording capability allowing the user to take video footage at QVGA quality at 12 frames per second. Multi email accounts are available and the traditional SMS and MMS messaging is also catered for. Document viewer is included enabling the user to view attachments such as PowerPoint, PDF files and Word, however, you are unable to edit the documents. The LG GS500 Cookie Plus incorporates a stereo FM radio with RDS support, a standard media player and a voice memo recorder. The GS500 offers sufficient memory, with a MicroSD memory card slot enabling memory expansion of up to 16GB, which is plenty of room for thousands of images and music tracks to be stored.
