About Quad Bike Winter Storage

According to my five years quad biking experience, I sort out following steps which can prolong the service life of our quad bike.

Step 1: Wash out the quad bike and do remember to sop it up. Moisture will accumulate dirt which may lead to corrosion.
Step 2: Change engine oil and oil filter. Waste oil will increase aging of engine. Only change the oil after a few minutes operation.
Step 3: Run out the fuel in carburetor and engine. Besides, we can close fuel valve and add gasoline stabilizer.
Step 4: Clean all sports structural parts then do lubrication.
Step 5: Wash air filter
Step 6: Cover muffler tail with plastic bag to prevent water and mosquito.
Step 7: Remove the battery and storage it separately. The battery will get somewhat damaged if there’s no charge for a long period, so please remember to charge it one time a month to main sufficient power.

And here are three notes I collected from the site quad-bikes.com.au which I think is useful, Just share with you guys:

Note 1: Make sure the Tires are in good shape.
Note 2: Park the quad bike in a cool and dry environment.
Note 3: Cover the quad bike with grille cloth to avoid erosion of dust.

Feel free to let me know if you got any other ideas.
