Abstractors And Title Examiners Need Help!

Even as congress is coming to the aid of Wall street and the mortgage industry, independent abstractors and title examiners are fighting to find more clients in an ever-decreasing market. Certainly, once the credit markets open up again, there will be millions of qualified homeowners looking to get refinances, especially as rates stay low. Furthermore, despite the governments best effort there will be a booming foreclosure market for the next 2 years. Someone will have to do that title work. Do you want it?


I know I do...I am tired of seeing my volume down 50 percent or more each month. I know that now is the time to find the new clients...the secure clients that will be ordering that title work. No matter how unappealing it is, I have to do that calling. Where I could call new companies and get new orders the same day, now I have to call new potential clients a few times...but is it worth it - YES. And unless you are going to get out of the industry, you will have to do it too.

If you have lost any of your clients, you will need to find new ones to supplement that lost volume. Be prepared to make the calls, and invest in your business, both time and money. Find the free services out there...but waiting for the phone calls won't work. You will need to call clients...but think of this...$2 per month and 100 calls - if that brings you ONLY one new client and 40 refi searches a month...haven't you made your investment back by at least 1000 percent?

Start now...the work will pick up and you need to put yourself in the position to get the order from your clients.
