Achieve Home Based Business Success By Ignoring The Negative
Anytime you try something new and outside the norm, you are going to be faced with lots of skeptics who all think they know what is best for you and your life. To be honest with you, even I was a little skeptical when I started my own home based business over 9 years ago. Could I really find success in a MLM business?
I had a dream to work from myself and not have a nagging boss telling me what to Come to think of it, it did seem a little crazy since I had never had success in a work from home business before. So why would I try again now? The answer was simple. I never gave up on my goal!
When so many people have doubts in your ability, laugh at you or tell you to give up and just get a real job, it can be really tough to stay focused about your home based business. But I learned an important secret to success!
Do you want to know the secret? It is the simplest thing to do but, at time same time, it may the hardest thing in the world to do.
JUST IGNORE THE NEGATIVITY OF THOSE AROUND YOU!
I know that's easier said than done. It is easy, in theory, to just ignore them and not let their negativity deter you or hurt your progress in business. But when you are being bombarded by your friends and family, it can be the hardest thing to do.
So how do you stop the negative voices? I applied Three P's to the situation: Prospective, Persistence and Productivity.
1) Prospective
Just remember, that this is only for a short time and season. Your success will come! It might feel pretty lousy right now waiting for your success to really kick in, but remember you are building a MLM business for you and your family's future, not the naysayers!
2) Persistence
If you are persistent in working your business, success will absolutely happen for you. Remember, there is no such thing as an overnight success. If you have found a great company, with a great product and comp plan, you can succeed by sticking to it!
3) Productivity
The last thing you need to concentrate on is productivity. Not just being busy but actually being productive in the things you are doing to market your business, sign people up and get them trained to become successful themselves.
If you concentrate on these three things, success will be just around the corner for you. Then who will have the last laugh?
I know my friends and family thought I was crazy in the beginning of my network marketing journey. But now I am able to work my work from home business full time from home and love every minute of it.
My life has completely changed. I'm not just working for the weekend anymore since everyday is the weekend for me. I am not worried about not getting a raise, because I can give myself a raise by I can do what I want, when I want. Now that's a good thing (to borrow a phrase from Martha Stewart)!
Don't get me wrong, I love my friends and family, but I'm sure glad I didn't allow their negativity to hinder my success. Now they want to know how to get started and be successful in their own home based business.
So stop listening to all the negativity, get busy and enjoy your success as it comes!
