First thing is to sit down and make a full list of all the interests that you have, all the things you do in your life. All the things that you have done in your life. You have to be genuinely interested though!

Next step is to select a couple of the things that you are really passionate about. Things that if someone asked you, you could just stand there and talk for hours about it. Try to summarise your idea into just one or two words.

Head on over to the Google search engine and add your words in and hit the search button. But don’t stop there. Click the little plus sign at the top left for more options, and towards the lower portion of the left hand box that appears is the ‘wonder wheel’. Click it. I have only just discovered this wonderful little device but its great fun. I will let you work out how to use it yourself – go on, give it a click!

Basically it gives you lots of options that you could have searched for rather than just the ones that you initially entered. Keep clicking and making notes of things that you know about or interested as you go: you can just copy and paste into another document the options that turn up.

Great, so you have a few ideas. Now head on over to the Google keyword tool and start entering those ideas into the search box. You can if you want add the lot in one go, but you can reduce your search options by doing so.
