Advantages Of Forex

Forex is a way to invest your money. But it differs strongly from common stocks, funds, bonds and other ways you can invest any money. When it comes to stocks, the market is always uncertain. Investors are acting emotionally and buy or sell even though it's against their rationale. This is very dangerous and makes it tough to beat this game. In fact, it's impossible to beat the market long term. There's a market index (like the S&P 500) that gives you the best profits with an efficient risk/profit ratio. Maybe you can buy some stocks that beat this index a few times in a row. But this can also be luck. You can't beat it long term except you have some insider information. However, such a fund also consists of common stocks and they can't beat the market long term. So why should a fund do that? You can only diversify very easily with a fund and it's easy to manage. So if you want to buy 100 different stocks you better buy just one fund that consists of these 100 stocks. This also means less transaction costs for you. A fund offers a great opportunity to diversify. Of course it depends how a fund looks like. Some funds consist of stocks from a certain industry or country. So they are very risky. Look at some Asian Growth Funds right now with the crisis in Japan. They took big hits after this catastrophe. A fund that investes across the globe however wont take such big hits.

And bonds, well, they aren't a good option for small investors and offer limited returns. Sure, there are great opportunities with bonds but overall the risk is too small to make bigger profits.

But here's another one: Forex. Forex means Foreign Exchange Market and is the market where currencies are traded. It's the biggest market in the world with a volume of 1.5 Billionen USD each DAY! You can trade with Forex for 24 hours a day because currencies are traded around the globe unlike stocks. Forex is often very volatile and offers great chances to profit in these phases. That menas that there are policital or economical events that push one currency in one direction. The best example is the Euro crisis in 2010 where everybody feared insolvency of Greece, Ireland and Spain. The Euro lost a lot compared to the USD during this crisis and it was an open secret. A great opportunity to see some nice returns.
Another advantage of Forex is that you can profit from bullish or bearish market conditions. Most of the time bearish conditions are better opportunities to make decent profit.

In Forex you can close your positions easily. You don't have to wait hours or even days. With stocks for example you can't close your positions on the weekend. It is possible that you lose a lot of money because you can't close your position! This is not the case with Forex.
The Forex market thus offers you great opportunities and is simply different compared to all the other markets. It's bigger, 24 hours available, lets you close positions easily and offers a lot of other advantages. It's worth a try if you're not happy with your returns with stocks or funds.
