Aerial Photography - A Bird's Eye View

Aerial photography is defined as the taking of photographs whilst in the air, either by way of a plane, hot air balloon, rocket, skydiver, ultra light, heli, rocket or some other kind of airborne vehicle. Aerial photography originated in France within 1958 when an avid balloonist and photographer named Nadar, took his first aerial photographs. Aerial photography offers many different purposes for instance; military strategy and surveillance, mapmaking, moving making, espionage, wildlife studies, natural resource research and residential photography as well as many other purposes.

Residential aerial photography is very well-liked by individuals and families that live in rural areas. These types of photographs, while often pricey, allow the resident to see their home and next to acreage from above, the viewpoint that is nearly impossible to photograph. Living on loved ones property, there is a great sense of pride when looking at the improvements that have been created in your lifetime and with the knowledge that the property will remain in the family, these types of aerial photographs show just a glimpse of how life changes with each generation.

A pilot friend lately began to give airborne photography to clients, friends and business associates. This unique gift is traditionally very costly. However, he is able to provide this gift, as he individually owns the plane as well as camera. To him, it has become an unique way of indicating his gratitude and companionship.
