African Wildlife Experiences

The sun was already burning high up in the skies when my friends and I arrived on the African territory. We wanted to experience something totally different last summer, so we decided to test our strength in the wild safari. Much to our surprise, the prices for a luxury safari holiday were smaller than the regular holidays; therefore, we could afford to book a room at the best lodge.

Our experience began as soon as we landed on the African territory as the appointed travel guide was expecting us with two safari jeeps. We all took our seats in the jeeps and we followed the guide to our hotel. Africa’s infrastructure is highly developed, so you won’t face any troubles during your travel and you will be able to get to any location around the continent in no time.

When we arrived at the safari lodge we couldn’t believe our eyes how luxurious the rooms were. Decorated with the finest furniture, the rooms of the lodge preserved the safari style in that the predominant colors were forest green, beige, khaki and animal prints. Although it was built in a solitary garden, the lodge offered the most modern services from restaurants to spas and beauty facilities, so we did not miss the comfort of our homes.

The following days, the guide took us on a tour of the national park where we had the chance to spot the big five animals of the continent, the lion, the leopard, the elephant, the buffalo and the rhino. During our session of animal tracking we had the chance to see some of the most beautiful African scenes.

There are many rivers and channels in Africa, so it was absolutely obligatory for us to go on a cruise along the Olifants River. The water had an interesting red color and it was populated with numerous wild species that made the cruise much more attractive. When the boat trip was over we decided to experience something new, so we hired a hot air balloon to take us above the safari. Never in my life have I seen something so beautiful; the reddish color of the African fauna was intensified by the setting sun. This image itself was worth coming to the African safari again.

You should dare to go on safari at least once in your life and I guarantee you that you will have the best time of your life. The prices practiced by safari lodges are very small and you even have the possibility to rent a chalet; thus, you and your friends can split the costs and save more money.
