After The First Date
We can all base our advice on the experience's we have had in the past. With any luck, you can mix all the experiences together and take what you want out of the advice you receive. Text messaging is only a recent thing. Where would we be now without text messaging? I would love to know how many text messages are sent around the world every day. Millions, maybe billions. What would of you have done after a date with out text. Well, the best advice would be to of left calling them for a couple of days. You call to let them know how you felt the date went. Try and actually make a phone call rather than text. Calling them is so much more personal then a text. If you need to make a text your first way of contact then, make it funny and maybe mention something amusing that had happened that night. You will find something to break the ice. It may take you a while. Some can sit for hours agonising over that very first text message they want to send Keep it short and sweet so there is not too much information for the recipient to take in. By calling or sending a text after the date, you are making a step towards a new conversation in the right direction. By sending a text you are still moving forward in the right direction. You are still creating an opening for a phone call next. If you got on very well on the actual date, then you should have the confidence to send a quick and simple text. Hopefully the conversation flowed enough for you to want to take that plunge. They will be pleased to hear from you. You never know what advice they have been given. They might have been told not to contact you. So don't take it to heart that they haven't got in touch with you first. Article Directory: http://www.articledashboard.com |
