Agel Scam Rumours - Con Or Perhaps A Legal Organization

Most of us, at some point, have been approached to become part of the network marketing circus. For me, the opportunity came in the form of Agel. At the time, I had just started my website design business, I was working very hard and was starting to create a profitable little business. I got introduced to Agel by a client of mine, who needed a website to promote these brand new nutritional gel packs. I got to work designing her website and was intrigued by the sales copy I was writing for her, the promotional videos looked good, and the compensation plan wasn't half bad either.

The business plan is not sustainable for many, and around 97% of individuals will lose, or have lost their cash as they dont have the practical knowledge to recruit the right people to make the compensation plan work.

Agel's training (like numerous other network advertising businesses) is based upon a tried and trusted approach of MLM selling. Invite a group of friends around your home, or hire a meeting room if your flush, stick on the DVD, erect the fancy banners and hand out a few leaflets and gel packs. After a 30 minute DVD, individuals should be waving their cheque books at you, in a position to part with the $1000 to join the enterprise.

It's this approach of MLM selling that truly gets my blood boiling, it preys on peoples emotions, gives inexperienced individuals the belief that they can make a fortune, with only several hours work a day. MLM is like any other business, the exact same rules apply, you should work difficult to grow the proper team of folks, not just pals and family members. Its a full time business, that requires effort, a lot of cash, and continual training to your team members.

Most people just dont realise what is required to grow a successful MLM enterprise, and for folks who are looking to start a home based enterprise, I strongly urge you to take a look at other residence based company opportunities. Im not saying that network advertising is wrong, or that cash can't be made out of Agel, or any other MLM opportunity. But Agel's compensation plan, as well as the heavy reliance on the autoship model, implies that most folks, with no MLM or company experience, won't make their money back from Agel.

However, I am glad I joined, as I met some great individuals, some of whom I still maintain in contact with and have forged great company relationships with, years after I left the Agel business.

One of the most effective purchases I made whilst learning about MLM and home based company was Magentic Sponsoring, a really informative video series and PDF that changed my entire outlook on lead generation. It realy is one of the very best products I have read (and ive read a couple of), that changed the way in which I grew my team of distributors, and I still use the same principles today in my main stream businesses.
