Aggressive Tactics That Get Your Website Noticed
Tactic #1 Link building needs to be natural and not forced or lazy. Links need to also be spread all over the Internet and that means gaining links from websites that are not all on the same server. Bots know where the websites are located and it will look very funny if links keep coming from one central location. Links being created by more than one IP (computer) address is also a huge plus. Aggressive Option: Use link automation that builds links over time and supplement those links with REAL comments on do follow blogs at a rate of three to five per day. While that may seem like a lot of comments, more than 50% of them will probably never be published. As a special tip, the name field can be used for the anchor text and the website field with the inner page URL. This way, when the comment is published, it will include the proper anchor text and hyperlink to your website. Tactic #2 Watch the page rank of the websites you are trying to gain links from. Walmart.com has a page rank of 8, is that PR8 or PR9 website that wants to give you a link in the same league as the mega-retailer? Aggressive Option: Establish links on websites of ALL PR ranges. New websites and low PR websites are just fine. Article directories are the best way to do this. There are new directories popping up all the time and many only require 250 words to push an article into publication. Tactic #3 The keywords used as anchor text for your links is not necessarily always helping out your traffic flow. There will be words that will increase ROI, or return on investment, and there are those that will be duds from the starting block. Aggressive Option: Research which keywords are the most popular in your niche and with your ad campaign, if applicable, and use those keywords as your anchor text. There should be a list of keywords, not just one or two. These keywords need to be relevant to the content they are linking to and not just the website in general. For instance, a website on Women's Health may use "womens health" as their anchor text for the main URL. If there is a section of the website on Menopause, the same "womens health" anchor text should not be used. Instead, a relevant keyword about just menopause or a combination of menopause and womens health may be best.
