Aging Skin Care - Aging Skin Care Routine For Firmer, Younger Looking Skin
Another part of skin care, is exfoliation, which should be done weekly. Exfoliation helps to remove the top layer of dead skin cells. It's these cells that take away that lovely, healthy glow from your face and make your skin look dull. Use a gentle scrub that has small grains, as larger grains can actually damage your skin. Just like when cleansing, move in circular motions, but don't press too hard! Light pressure is all you need to exfoliate—let the exfoliant do its job. Besides daily cleansing, the most important part of a daily skincare program is moisturizing. After cleansing and patting your face dry, apply a moisturizer to trap that moisture in your skin. Use a moisturizer that is formulated for your skin type, and be sure not to over-moisturize, as it can cause clogged pores. Purchasing a moisturizer with an SPF factor will also be beneficial to you, as it will protect your face from the harmful rays of the sun. An SPF of 15 is a good protection factor to look for in a moisturizer. For women, moisturizer should be put on under your makeup every day. Many people also choose to add toner to their daily skincare regime. However, toner is really not necessary. Toners are formulated to remove all remaining traces of make-up, dirt, and oil. If you are using a good cleanser, and cleaning properly, then you should not need a toner. Toners also often contain alcohol, which is very drying to the skin, and not recommended. Daily skincare is extremely important. Adopting a skincare program is easy. Just find a suitable cleanser and moisturizer. Remember, every day: Cleanse and moisturize!
