Air Farce One

President Obama was in Colorado today to sign the $787 billion buy-the-vote stimulus plan. Supposedly, Obama chose Colorado because the state has big potential for renewable energy jobs – whatever the hell that means!

Tomorrow Obama will be in Arizona to campaign…I mean speak about measures in the stimulus bill to help homeowners in danger of foreclosure.

Is there a reason why this phony stimulus bill couldn’t have been signed in the White House, in a typical bill-signing ceremony? As far as going around the country discussing the benefits of the stimulus bill, why didn’t he do that before it was rammed through the Congress?

But No….. Obama now wants to hit the campaign trail again to spin the content of the buy-the-vote stimulus bill to all his brain-dead supporters and media. After all, even Obama knows his own limitations - he knows he’s at his best when in campaign mode reading off a teleprompter.

Meanwhile, he’s unnecessarily burning up precious fossil-fuel flying all over the country on Air Farce One. Of course, when Obama travels, then thousands of members of the media also travel, adding to even more global warming causing pollution! This is the same Obama who scolds us for driving our SUV’s and for not properly inflating our tires! Where are all of the enviro-nazis who bemoan that we’re destroying the environment by just living and breathing?

Obama is a campaigner, not an executive. His handlers know that he’s more effective out on the road speaking to his adoring sycophants than behind a desk in the Oval Office. I predict that when he finally leaves office, he will wind up setting a record for the most hours logged by a President on Air Force One.
