The same way goes for repeat customers, when a company has satisfied customers on its roster, the tendency is a continuing profitable business proposition for the company as a whole.

In this case, credit card companies and air line companies are the major beneficiaries when this marketing strategy is implemented right. Currently, most major credit cards and airline companies implement this program aggressively worldwide. They look at the competition as the primary motivator to implement this program. They have to offer a better value for money incentives in order to satisfy their existing customers and win new ones.
