Alkaline Diet Foods - Living The Better Life

Did you know that eating alkaline diet foods can bring you better health? Yes, when we speak of alkaline food, we're talking about the kinds of food that we can get from nature. These include fresh fruits and vegetables, grains, herbs, honey, and other natural food. Why are these good for the body?


Alkaline-rich food leave alkaline-ash or alkaline residue which neutralizes our body's chemical pH. The exact opposite happens when we eat foods that are high in acid content. Examples of highly acidic food are pork, beef, pre-processed meals, artificial sweeteners, beer and other alcoholic beverages. When we consume these foods often, we are also collecting toxins in our system. This is because acidic foods leave acid-ash or acid residue when digested.

Therefore, a diet that consists of highly acidic food can sooner or later bring damage to our health. We can begin to see the effects of bad eating habits through premature signs of aging. People who frequently experience headaches, dizziness, muscle cramps, joint pains, heart palpitations, and fatigue are usually practicing an unhealthy lifestyle. Are you one of them?

• Am I conscious of what I feed myself and my family?

• Am I prone to eating junk foods?
• Do I often eat meat instead of vegetables and fruits?
• Do I usually drink soda in place of water?
• Do I practice a regular exercise program?
• Do I smoke cigarettes?
• Do I often drink alcohol?
• Am I aware of the alkalinity or acidity of the food I eat?

Seriously think about the above questions and ask, Are you putting yourself in great danger? Focusing on alkaline diet foods can still save you from health risks. However, you need to act fast before it's too late. Don't let chronic diseases catch up on you because you ignored the signs of incorrect dieting.
