Amway Scam? The Amway Review That Changes Your Business

Now, the fact that you are out researching this company means you're on the right track. It is very wise to research the company on your own before jumping into a decision. I am review will start some facts about the company's beginnings in their current state. Jay Van Andel and Rich DeVos one of the company has some association for Nutrilite distributors. Alticor is the parent company and Amway is based out of Ada, Michigan, It is reported that Amway took in over $9 billion in 2009. They are ranked by Forbes magazine as one of the largest private companies in the US and by another magazine as one of the largest retailers in the world. The company that began as a simple American Way Association became a force to be reckoned with very quickly.

What will you be selling if you decide to start a Quixtar business? Amway's product lines cover jewelry, electronics, personal care products, home care products, dietary supplements, cosmetics and many, many more. Obviously it would be hard for me to go into detail and every one of their products but as you can see there is no lack of them. Amway's most popular product lines are the Artistry makeup line and Nutrilite supplement division.

For being such a huge company, Amway's pay plan seems very weak to me. Although I do not claim to be an expert on the issue, I do know, and have studied quite a few different pay plans. One of the hardest understand is the one that Amway uses. They have a breakaway plan, that pays much less the think a company of their stature would. This is sad too, because Amway has such a stigma that recruiting is very difficult, if they had a less confusing and more lucrative comp plan, they could overcome this. I feel sorry for the people that have joined Amway recently looking to make a big income, I feel that much of the growth potential has passed. The company is very, very big and almost everyone has heard of someone's failure in the company. In my opinion, an Amway business leaves much to be desired. However, if you're looking for a business to retail products than Amway is definitely for you.

How about Amway training and support? While they somehow can keep people who are making absolutely no money committed, I cringe when I think about how they do it. However, I think the way they keep people connected is horrible. There is a habit among Amway leaders to try to get all of their downline to buy motivational and trainings products. For example, $50 a month for motivational tapes and training by leaders. Wow! And this is just the beginning, I've talked to reps who've paid over $500 per month to run their business. This is ridiculous to me. And these extra bills every month come nowhere near guaranteeing success in Amway. While most companies give this away, these leaders are trying to make money before the new Amway distributor fails.

All in all, I would never join Amway and would never recommend for anybody else join either. I do believe that hard work and commitment one can still succeed at the company. I just feel that there are many better and more fair opportunities out there.

Another thing, before we end this Quixtar review. It comes to growing a large team to reach your residual income goals, Amway cannot really help. The strategies you would learn the strategies that only worked for about 3% of people. The odds can get much worse. These methods can help you sponsor some people in the beginning, but over time this will not be enough. You have to be able to recruit a very high number of people and help others do the same. You must learn how to market your business successfully to ever earn a large income in this industry.
