An Invitation To True Power: Learning Self-command
Many people think that power is a possession of sorts, like money, knowledge or fame. True power is not something that can be falsely manufactured either and does not use violence of any kind. Power does not manipulate, seduce or persuade anyone to follow you either. These are all forms of false power seemingly appearing real. So what is true power then? How do great leaders and people with true power achieve that kind of command?
That is the key right there, true power is something that is achieved vs. something you get your hands on. True power has secrets to it and one of the first secrets is that you achieve a state of command by becoming authentic with yourself. The first step to true power is becoming very honest with you when you speak to you. Without that first you cannot find your power that resides inside you waiting for you to unleash its abilities and service. As well, if you are not honest with yourself you will be found out eventually and lose your false power, I.E. Bernie Maddoff, OJ Simpson or Ted Haggard.
The next key to true power is that you must know in every person there resides true power. The basics of this power means first you must use it to fearlessly confront yourself and ask yourself questions about who you would like to serve and how you would like to serve. I.E. if you say you would like to serve mankind, you must ask yourself how you would like to serve mankind. True power resides in the place of serving others authentically. True authentic power looks like, Mother Teresa, Oprah Winfrey, Paul Newman and Martin Luther King.
True power is powered by your relationship to authenticity. Can you be authentic, in every moment, with yourself and others? Are you comfortable in your own skin? Your intention is the biggest part of allowing the power that resides within you out. This is showing your original face all the time.
Inviting or allowing yourself to experience your true authentic power within yourself does not mean that you will no longer need to find solutions to enhance outcomes; it means that you will do so from a place of being able to enhance these outcomes in an authentic manner that serves all in a win/win fashion.
The invitation to true power means that you are using your self-command to meet you in such a way as to allow your best life to lead the way. To follow your heart and begin to authentically become who it is that you have always wanted to experience yourself to be. I invite the most powerful you to lead the way and fill your life with grand experiences.
