An Eye-opening Book

I am a lack of confidence, as long as a thing which I did is failed, I would think that it is because of my poor ability. When adults are talking about some celebrities, I would think that because they are smart with their birth. This opinion has not changed until I read a book. Some days ago, my mother bought me a book named "the stories of world famous celebrities ", it is the book that has opened my eyes.

There are famous movie stars, scientists, and the world famous writers, even the Chinese Jackie Chan is in this book. We also can see the stories about Esperanto Zamenhof, and the Mozart who was known as the incomparable "musical prodigy". There are so many that I cannot mention everyone, but the one who moved me deeply is the Hans Christian Andersen.

Hans Christian Andersen is the master of fairy tale, many children like to read his stories very much. But Andersen’s family is very poor, when he was a child, his shoemaker father died, and his mother was a poor washerwoman, she had to wash a lot of clothes every day. So Anderson had not received any systematic education. Later, with the help of well- intentioned people, he could study in a middle school. Under difficult conditions there, he wrote those famous literary works. But at that time, there was something wrong with his left ear.

Think of me, the family is very good, and parents are both cultural, I can learn in a good condition, but how can I lose my confidence when meeting the small setbacks? Perhaps I was too sluggish, fear of suffering, and the most important thing is maybe I lack perseverance.

Now I read this excellent book, I know the spirit of indomitable and courage is so important. Do not be lazy, be afraid of suffering frustration and never give up, we will get future success finally.
