Plato could not have fabricated the tale of Atlantis, a land not only beholding the sunlight but also bringing forth a wondrous abundance, or so many scholars and believers say. Around 4000 BC was when Antarctica had ice. Nothing but underground explosions and seismic upheavals were experienced beforehand. Existing civilizations had no chance of survival with some of these. An island in the Atlantic Ocean is what Atlantis was and this was the discovery made by an author who was researching about it for his writing. The untimely demise came about after a nuclear explosion hit. In the past nuclear weapons were also available just like today.
