Anti Snoring Pillows - Do They Work?

As a snorer or sleep apnea sufferer you have probably heard about the various anti snoring devices available on the market, all of which promise to cure your condition. A lot of these are really good and work nicely, some leave a lot to be desired. I have snored for much of my life, but found really good relief with a low cost treatment called an anti snoring pillow.

The anti snore pillow is a low cost, highly effective, non invasive device that works in a very simple way. For many of the snorers in the world, laying on ones back usually results in the most severe snoring. Perhaps you suffer in the same way.If this is the case, you can be thankful. It allows a simple adaptation of your sleeping position to afford rapid relief.

The anti snore pillow is a contoured pillow, constructed of a special foam which will not sag or slump.. By adapting to the contour of your upper body, it helps keep you in the side sleeper position during your sleeping hours.

In addition, it pulls the lower jaw into a slightly forward position and elongates your neck a little, thus assisting in keeping the airway clear at night.

It also reduces the amount of neck, shoulder and upper arm discomfort that many sleepers complain of at night. Many users have also commented that it is a good system to relieve habitual headaches that many unfortunate people waken with in the morning.

There are quite a good range of these anti snoring pillows available online, ranging in price from as little as $20, up to $100 or so. The US FDA do approve the Sona Pillow as a sleep apnea treatment, but it also works really well for snorers. For many innocent snoring conditions, one of the cheaper models may well suffice.
