Antivermin Spyware Is Not Something Anyone Would Love To Keep
Many people don�t care at all about security. Yes, they have heard of other people who have become victims of malware but somehow they don�t feel this as a potential threat for themselves. Those people just pretend that they never become victims of anything. It sounds as if they live on another planet, where this is possible! But burying one�s head in the sand is not the right approach. No matter if you care or not, you can become a victim of modern day crimes. The only way to avoid this is by taking timely and adequate measures to protect yourself against all the nasties on the Web. A couple of weeks ago I myself became a victim � of antivermin spyware. The shocking thing is that I am a security freak and I have been working with computers for more than 30 years, so I am certainly not ignorant. However, since I am not a developer, I don�t know absolutely all intricacies of spyware. I was looking for an anti-spyware program for my computer. However, I was also hoping for a free answer to my safety needs. I thought I had found the perfect software. Unfortunately, as with so many free downloads, I could scan my computer for free, and eradicate some of the problems. But, if I truly wanted a threat and infection free computer, I would have to purchase the complete file. More or less I liked what I found. It wasn�t bad � it detected many problems and potential threats, which really required immediate attention. But I was not completely satisfied by its approach � try for free and then pay, if you want full protection. So, I got into my computer and deleted the program, surfed further, and found software that would legitimately suffice. Unfortunately, I did not actually get rid of what turned out to be antivermin. I kept getting popup messages telling me the computer was in danger, and my personal information was subject to identity theft. I need to make the purchase and complete the process as soon as possible. I had added and deleted numerous programs in my lifetime, but no matter what I tried, I could not get rid of the flashing messages that constantly distracted me from work. Finally, my only option was to do a system restore to the nearest date and time available prior to downloading the nasty software. To summarize, antivermin is something you shouldn�t keep on your computer. It is not only annoying - it is harmful too. The worst is that if you don�t remove it asap, you are giving it time to penetrate your files and cause a real damage. Yes, antivermin spyware can make pretty nasty things to you and your computer!
