Apple has got a big market after unlocking the iphones. Yes and I think this proves to be the deal of profit for them. They sold approximately 1.4 million iphones after unlocking 250,000 phones. One of the shocking news is that china mobiles are the biggest wireless selling mobile phones. But they also have to seen problem due to launch of the iphones and this is said that there were approximately 400,000 unlocked iphones are sold in 2007.
This is true that both the china mobile and the iphones give almost equal functionality to the customers but then also durability of the china mobile is less than the iphones hence it is rely by the customers more. The only thing which pulls the iphone leg back is its limited service for limited countries which is now no more problem after launching of unlocked iphones. Hence the use of iphones increased.
One of the most important facts is that the apple company makes their profit from each and every mobile phone save. And the biggest part of their income comes from the revenue i.e. service revenue. Its US partner pays $15 per month which is their pure profit.

But their long term effect is that if that iphone is upgrade with original iphone software, then this software disables the unlocked iphone.
