Your metabolism won’t be able anymore to use up all the calories and surplus energy that you have in your body. You should continue to eat but you should take into consideration the serving size and the hours of the day when you have a meal. Some weight loss gurus think that eating more smaller meals during each day actually increases your metabolic burns which means you are burning more calories daily and losing more weight more rapidly. It is recommended that you eat 4-5 meals each day.
3)Eat bit by bit: why are you in a hurray when eating? The food won’t run from your platter and probably no one is going to take it away. Get into the habit of chewing your food well before swallowing it. Put the knife and fork down while you are chewing your food. By taking your time to eat you meal you give your body all the time it needs to signal you when it had all the food it needs. Overeating is very common nowadays and it’s the source of the wave of obesity that is spreading around the world. Just by learning how to eat more slower you will be able to lose a lot of weight in just one year.
4)Drink a lot of liquids: you probably know that you must drink at least 8-10 cups of water daily. Giving your body all the water it wants is very important for your health and for the success of any weight loss diet. This goes double is you workout regularly because during the workout you get dehydrated. If you want to enjoy top results from your workouts you have to prevent getting dehydrated. A good habit to have is the one of drinking water while exercising, before and after an workout and of course all day long. If you can you should drink a glass of water before each meal. Our bodies regularly mistake hunger for thirst. By drinking a glass of water you will eat far less food and you will lose weight quicker.
