Now archery is one of the official sports in the Olympic game. Many countries represent their best archer. They are trained to hit the goal at the center to make a good score. Men and women have their share. The game is set in different categories to make it more effective, and to measure the skills of the contestant in different position and target. But this will not be possible if we don’t have the equipment. Here are the different archery equipment used: 1.) Bow: the bow is made from strong wood or from solid plastic to make it stronger and elastic. This is usually split into two categories. The bow also has its type such as cable-backed bows and compound bow. 2.) Arrows: this is one of the most important equipment of archery, because without this, the game will not be possible. 3.) Fletching: like arrows but it is made from bird feathers or plastics. 4.) Bow string: usually this is made from linen. Any fibrous materials will do as long as it has a high quality 5.) Protective equipment: Archers wear this as their protection. This includes bracer, usually a leather one. They also wear finger tab, for easy gripping of the string and arrows.
