Are Bsa Scopes Any Good?

Based out of the UK, BSA has been in business for nearly 150 years.  They are Great Britain's oldest and most well known gun maker and small arms manufacturer. They own a number of shooting related businesses including ammunition, shooting supplies, and rifle scopes.  The rifle scope side of their business was formed in 1996 and is known as BSA Optics.
The BSA Optics department has developed several rifle scope models for most any need and budget. BSA sells a number of assorted rifle scope models, including styles for:
* Air rifles
* Rimfires
* Centerfire
* Tactical
* BDC models (Sweet series)
While BSA is more known as "budget brand", they have made excellent enhancements in both quality and product offerings in the last 3-5 years. They are best known for their BDC (Bullet Drop Compensation) models, which offer built-in bullet drop compensation with specific rifle calibers and bullet weights. These models are somewhat unique to the industry as they allow the shooter to pick a range and the scope automatically adjusts for the drop in bullet as it travels that distance.
Pricewise, BSA features rifle scopes that will fit most any budget.  They have a excellent reputation in the rifle scope industry, and feature a reasonable warranty. If you are looking for a nice scope with fairly good optics for under $150, then BSA is an option. Is it a Leupold? No, but it performs exceptionally well for it's lower price point.
