A lot of times people don't think about these qualities and their mindset shifts back to working a full time job which in turn becomes their reality again.

Then you have others who join a MLM company go out and recruit like crazy and build their business in no time. They mostly do this by recruiting lots and lots of people that they never actually train or work with in their downline. 97% of the people can't repeat this process their upline has done so within a short period of time they are ready to shut down and give up.

Starting a home based business in the beginning requires patience, practice and the ability to work hard and in the process of building your business you have to treat it like a business not a hobby. You need to be able to find the right people to work with by taking the time to get to know people and build a relationship with them you also need to help others in different networking companies. Understand there is a growth period in any homebased business you must face.

Time Dedication

Everything is very time consuming when starting out you must devote a lot of time to your small home based business as you continue to take on other responsibilites in your life like your job. Always devote at least 15 hours a week into your business of course if you can devote more time then by all means do so.

Many times people fail because they don't have a strategic business plan. A plan simply accomodates a description of your business, your ideas, possible problems and solutions and your plan of action.

Most of the time there's a start up cost which usually isn't much. You will have to eventually invest into office suppplies, workshops, events and seminars. You can expect a payment starting out compared to what your used to making on your job.

Sales and Marketing Plan

Advertising as well as promoting your homebased business is important to your success. If no one knows about you and who you are then how can you allow yourself to grow.

There are several different social media sites you can use to help grow your business and you need to set up your own website or blog therefore people can come and find out about you and what you have to offer them.

Staying Encouraged

It can get hard enough between working your job and coming home to work your business, so if you are not a dedicated and self motivated type of person then running a business may not be for you. Keep in mind that your gonna have to work three times as hard for yourself as you do in the workplace. Stay focused on your goals and work your business on a daily basis even if its just 1 hour after work and work for about 8 hours on your off days.

Push Yourself

Always push yourself no matter what even when friends and family try to discourage you. In order to become successful you must stay excited, passionate and become dedicated to helping others out there in your field because only you know the power behind what you have to offer.

Be Calm and Patient

I know its hard at times being patient when your not seeing any instant results but keep in mind that patience is the key to longevity. Your going to have good and bad days, the main thing here is to stay focused on your goal, work in small doses and keep pushing.

In order to become a successful full time entrepreneur you must be willing to consistently work hard, keep an open mind at all times and always be a student in the industry. Don't ever look at failure as a choice. Treat your business just like your 9 to 5 job.
