Are You Cut-out To Become Successful?

It is time for us to stand and cheer for the doer, the achiever, the one who recognizes the challenge and does something about it.
- Vince Lombardi

Success is how you define it. People went out of their way, leaving behind their comfort zones on a quest to satisfy their desires or whatever they hope to achieve on a short or long-term basis. Some, after a thousand rounds of debilitating rejection and discouragements eventually succeeded. The majority who went out to this quest, after just a round of debilitating setback inevitably stayed down there…where they fell, never able to pick themselves up ever.

The obvious is staring right at our faces. It seems that people are huddled together in groups. One group consists of those who are cut-out for success, the other, the bigger group, consists of those who are cut-out for failure. It may seem so.

Actually, no one is cut-out to become successful, nor to become failure. The responsibility of becoming a success or a failure is always in our hands. I am forever fascinated by the immortal words of Elaine Maxwell which goes:

My will shall shape the future. Whether I fail or succeed shall be no man's doing but my own. I am the force; I can clear any obstacle before me or I can be lost in the maze. My choice; my responsibility; win or lose, only I hold the key to my destiny.

The difference therefore between those who succeed and those who fail is the former’s awareness that success is just around the corner. They realize that it is theirs for the taking…no matter how long it takes for them to get through the maze of the quest for success.

History is replete with success stories of people who achieved success only after thousand rounds of failures. Failure after failure did not dent their souls. They learned that, upon experiencing a setback, they did not stop searching for success because they finally failed; they failed because they stopped searching for success.

So you want to successfully achieve any of your goals? Don’t stop at anything!
