Are You Tired Of All The 'product Launch Spamming' Going On?
Over the last couple of months it seems like the Internet Marketing Gurus that we have all come to follow, have gone into sales fest mode. There was a time where you could honestly sign up to their newsletters and get quality useable information that would help you with your own online business, those days seem to be gone.
These days it seems to be all about - let's see how much money I can make as an affiliate for such and suches product launch. I call it the Internet Marketing Boys Club.
It is like these Gurus get together over a couple of beers, book their launches in each other diaries and then spend the rest of the year competing against each other to see who can make the most money out of someone elses product launch.
Don't worry about the poor people on their list who keeps getting email after email selling the next big thing. That's okay, as long as their making money.
Internet Marketing has become the Investment Banking of the online world and I think just like the recent crash, the Product Launchers are setting themselves up for a big fall.
Here are my 5 tips for keeping your money in your pocket:
1. If you have got to the stage where a person who you are following is sending you nothing more than product launch emails then it is time to unsubscribe - they will soon get the message that you want quality information or nothing at all if everyone starts unsubscribing from their lists. Remember, the money is in the list, if the Guru's list start dwindling they will stop to find out why, so yes you can make a stand if you are sick of the product launch spamming
2. Do not buy another product unless you have read through, watched or taken action with your previous purchase. If you cannot implement your last product purchase then buying another one is only going to reduce your bank balance even more. Remember it is all about making money, not making the Gurus money.
3. Find one or two people to follow and unsubscribe from all the rest. I mean really, when do you actually get the time to read all these emails and put any of them into action. It is just not possible, which is why people are finding 12 months on they are no better off than the first product that they purchased. Trust me I know I was one of them then someone gave me some really good advice. Find only one or two mentors that you can relate to, purchase their information, learn from them and then implement what you have learnt. You will be amazed at how quickly you will start making progress and seeing results.
4. Don't believe every promotional email that comes into your inbox. Remember, some of these guys hire people to write their copy. They know the hot buttons that make people pull out their credit cards, it does not mean that it works. Stick to tip number 3, find a mentor you can trust and follow them only. If you hear about a product that you think would benefit your business ask your mentor and they will tell you whether or not to purchase it or that you don't need it right now. Some of these products that they are selling to newbies are so far advanced that the majority cannot understand it. Stick to the basics until you get your business off the ground and then start worrying about all the Guru fancy strategies later.
5. Be smart, noone in this industry makes money overnight. See past all the bank balances that you read on the sales copy pages, or the testimonials. I am not saying that they are not true, I'm just saying that it takes more than setting up a website, putting a couple of affiliate links and creating a sales page to make money online. Is there money to be made really? Without a doubt, but only for those who stop, learn, listen and take action. If you are not willing to put the time, effort and money into making money on the internet then this industry is not for you.
