Are You Willing To Trade Your Loved Ones And Friends For Success?

I think it is something you need to seriously consider when deciding to start an online or offline business for that matter. When starting out you spend so much time learning the tricks of the trade to make this "thing" work especially if you have not made the leap of faith from part time to full time so you may also be holding down a full time job.

Just because you have a vision and are thinking positively that you can make a success of yourself and your business, the people around you will probably not share that same vision. That is not to say they do not have faith in you the problem is they will not understand what it is you are actually doing especially when a lot of the time you are not quite sure yourself.

Here are the signs:

You find yourself surfing until 4am and realise you have not achieved anything.
Your partner is always leaving you at the computer when going to bed.
Your kids ask why you are always on the computer.
You don't have time to go out and socialise with real people.
You buy all the latest systems promising to make you money with no effort.

It is absolutely essential to discipline yourself by doing the following:

Have a clear vision of what you want to achieve from your business, money is not enough.
Be clear what business you want to get into there really is a world outside internet marketing.
Discipline yourself to spending a certain amount of time on your business everyday even if its only one hour a day make it count!
When spending time on your business don't just surf from website to website set goals and achieve them!
Don't just buy all the latest products, purchase what will help you now depending on what stage you are at.

I don't want to preach here I just think it is something that is never talked about in the Internet Marketing community it is very easy to get caught up in the virtual world and forget about the people who mean the most to you.
You can make all the money in the world but it is no good if you have nobody to share it with. There is no point further down the line complaining that you are on wife/ husband number 4 or your daughter Britney is turning tricks
on the corner or that your son Brad is on a drugs charge because you were never there for them. That might seem extreme but I want to hit home how important it is to balance your business and your loved ones.
