Are You A Reality Tv Junky?

Okay, how many of you are reality TV Junkies? I can say that I've become one. I started off with the judge shows and progressed from there. Judge Judy is my favorite. She really makes me laugh and after working all day watching her helps me to unwind. The reason I like Judge Judy is that she doesn't beat around the bush and she is direct with people. That is a really good trait to have. People know that when they come on her show they need to come with evidence and facts. She will not tolerate nonsense. I also watch the Peoples Court and find that rather amusing as well. I think the cases are interesting and Judge Marilyn Milian does a good job too.

Another reality show that I watch each week is the Bachelor and the Bachelorette. For those of you who have been living under a rock, it is a show about a man or a woman looking for their future spouse. The Bachelor is a man who tries to find his future wife by getting to know 25 women all at the same time. They go on group dates, private dates, have cocktail parties and over the course of a few months he weeds out women that he can't see himself marrying and chooses women that he can see marrying. The Bachelorette is the same thing only with a woman trying to find her husband with 25 men. There certainly have been some marriages that have come out of these two shows but more times than not the couples do not stay together after the show airs. I think the fact that reality sets in and all that glitz and glamour that you experienced while dating in exotic places and being filmed all the time wears off you realize that you don't really know the person as well as you thought you did.

Hawthorne with Jada Pinkett Smith is another one of my favorite shows. It's not a reality show but it does show drama in the emergency rooms as Jada who is the Chief Nursing Director tries to keep chaos down in her hospital. It's a good show with just enough drama, romance and comedy to keep things interesting.

With Direct TV or Cable you are bound to find something to watch on TV. I remember growing up we had 5 channels, these days we have 250 channels and people still complain that there is nothing on. There is literally something for everybody on TV so just take a look through your online guide or a good old fashioned TV guide and I'm confident that you will find something to watch that helps to make your day a little better.
