Article List Building – How To Write Great Content Fast
I am sure that you are aware that good articles have the power to build your list if you do it the right way. In order to be found, the first thing that your article needs to have is a catching and efficient title. Catching, because you want the potential reader finding your article to want to read it. Efficient means that it has to come up on the right searches. For your article to show up for the correct searches the title needs to be keyword focused. In other words, your keywords need to be in the title. The next important element for your article is to have valuable content. If you want to be able to attract the right people to read your article, it needs to be content rich. Your article doesn’t need to give everything away, but it needs to be educative or informative. No one likes to read empty content. In order to write good, valuable content you need to be educated yourself about what you want to write. The best way to do this is by reading. Reading is the best ally of the writer, because it not only educates you, but it inspires you as well. I know that some people out there are preaching that short articles are best, because people don’t read, but just scan articles. I disagree with that. If you have built your clientele of readers who know that you write interesting and informative articles they will read them all the way through. If they don’t know you yet, and are reading one of your valuable articles for the first time they will be nicely surprised by your good content and read your article all the way to the end to learn more. In other word, good content will pay off far better than short neglected content for the scanners will. A good size article is around 400-450 words. That is not too long, but it is still long enough to contain valuable information. Your conclusion should not just conclude your article but rather be a short recap of what you’ve just said to your reader. It should prepare the reader to read further down and see what your bio area has to offer him or her. Your bio area should not tell too much about you if at all. People don’t necessarily need or want to know who you are, but they are reading your article more because of what you have for them. Your article is not about you, it’s about the readers. They were looking for something and they found your article. Now it’s your job to deliver. If you have what they are looking for and you are skilled enough to show it to them they will click on your link.
