1. Write eye-catching subject lines – we all know that the subject line determines if people will read your article or not. Next time you are standing in line at the grocery store, jot down some of the subject lines from the cover of popular magazines. 2. Show your personality – you are not a corporation, so don’t write like one. Show your personality in your articles. Don’t try to be all professional unless that is your personality. If you are a good story teller, tell a story in your articles. If you are a jokester, use a good line or two. Show a human touch. Show a little emotion.
3. Write often – people will remember you when they hear from you often. So many article authors write articles every week or two, and then wonder why people don’t read their articles and go to their website. The reason is that the authors have built no name recognition. Getting people to remember you, trust you, and recognize you is fairly easy – it just takes consistency and patience. Write good content and write often. You might be amazed at the amount of traffic you get once people know you.
