Article Marketing - Add Proof To Persuade Your Readers To Accept Your Ideas
In your articles, you write ideas and theories that explain to your readers how to do something. But if you're missing an important element, your readers may not be convinced that your ideas are true. Or they may not be convinced the ideas actually work. They don't want to waste their time trying an unproven idea. So they may be skeptical.
To solve this problem, an important element to add is proof. When you add proof, it convinces your reader that the information you provide is correct. Adding proof is a principle used in copywriting. You can apply this principle to your articles too.
What are some ways to include proof? If you have a personal example or story of yourself using your own ideas and achieving success, that can be used as proof. Or if you have success stories of other people using your ideas, that can be used as proof too.
Referring to research or studies that support your ideas can be a good way to provide proof. For instance, if you're teaching your readers to boost their productivity by getting a good night's sleep, then you can quote research that shows that productivity increases when you're well rested.
You can also quote books. If a credible author of a book wrote something that supports your idea or claim, then you can quote it in your article.
You could also refer to something you saw on TV as proof. For instance, if you saw something on the news channel that shows research or a study that supports your claims, then you can refer to that in your article.
